Associate — Data Management

If you’re looking for a role where you can do hands on work that will directly impact the business, this job might be a fit. Our client, an innovative, data-focused management consultancy working in the financial services industry, is looking to hire an Associate to support a new project for a financial data vendor. The mandate is to document and analyze the current state of the firms data practices and flows, and generate a roadmap for improvements. The person in this role will have the opportunity to think creatively and offer solutions. Candidates should have an understanding of database architecture, some exposure to Python and SQL scripting, and work experience dealing with data associated with financial instruments.

Associate Data Management Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ experience

Understanding of financial services data

Knowledge of databases and data flows, ability to track data movement from system to system

Strong data analytics skills with experience working in SQL, Python, R, etc.preferred

Demonstrated success document current state and recommending changes for the future state of a data management environment

This Associate opportunity is a long-term engagement based in New York, NY, and has the ability to convert into a full-time role.
