Our client, a boutique consultancy specializing in data management and analytics, is embarking on a project with a prominent bank in the NYC area. They are looking for data subject matter expert, with strong knowledge of data governance and metadata to enhance their data analytics and provide them with greater insight into their operations and standings. These subject matter experts will be charged with using Collibra as a governance platform and will need to be able to understand and consider business needs as well. The ideal candidate will have ample experience working with data governance and metadata, as well as strong communication skills, as they will be engaging with both colleagues and the client on this exciting project.

Data Subject Matter Expert Requirements:

Notable experience working with data in financial services

Background in data analysis: sourcing, interpreting, mapping data

Strong knowledge of data governance, with expertise in using Collibra as a platform

Experience and knowledge in working with metadata in financial services

Understanding and utilizing business requirements/needs; previous experience as an IT management, management consulting a plus

Strong communication skills to interface with clients

This is a 6-12 month project, with potential to be extended to the end of 2020. Location in the greater New York Area preferred, but not required.
