Our client, a boutique consultancy specializing in data management and analytics, is embarking on a project with a prominent bank in the NYC area. They are looking for data modelers to enhance their data analytics and provide them with greater insight into their operations and standings. These data modelers will be charged with utilizing normalized data to create functional data models, working with Collibra as a governance platform. The ideal candidate will have ample experience as a data modeler in financial services and strong communication skills, as they will be engaging with both colleagues and the client on this exciting project.

Data Modeler Requirements:
Notable experience as a data modeler in financial services
Strong knowledge of data modeling with abilities in the realm of conceptual, logical and physical data models
Experience working with normalized and raw data, strength in manipulating data
Exposure in working with various database and governance platforms, especially Collibra — Oracle, DB2, SQL a plus
Ability to use data management toolsets to create products
Understanding of data storage models and comfort in determining appropriate models given client need
Creating and defining business requirements
Comfortable working in an Agile environment
Strong communication skills to interface with clients

This is a 6-12 month project, with potential to be extended to the end of 2020. Location in the greater New York Area preferred, but not required.
