Senior Java Developer Responsibilities:
Comfort in working in Windows and Linux environments
Noted success and experience as a full stack Java developer; 4-8 years, equivalent language acceptable
Ample work with Javascript and AJAX, or jQuery — OOP and prototypes
Knowledge of RESTful services; building and interacting
Documented experience in working with SQL or Relational Databases; 2+ years
Capable of performing unit tests and code reviews
Profiling and performance tuning, as well as capacity management
Ability to work in Agile development environment — standups, sprint, retrospectives, kanban, pair-programming
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field of study (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
Nice to have:
Experience in working with React or Angular.js
Knowledge of MongoDB or NoSQL databases
Experience with Python
Work with Jersey web services and Tomcat
Experience with data visualization technologies
Knowledge of design patterns and programming by contract
