Subject Matter Expert – Export Financing & Risk Management

If you are looking to build something new from the ground up, this job is for you. Our client, a leading strategy consulting firm, has been engaged by a Middle Eastern Government and given the mandate of creating the structure for new Import Export (EXIM) Bank to promote trade. They are looking for four Subject Matter Experts who have know the procedures and risk management processes necessary to establish an Import Export Bank. These individuals represent key expertise needed on each of three established workstreams. Candidates should have experience in export finance, and specifically, exposure to Islamic Export Financing & Sharia Compliance.
- Products and Services: prior experience in products within export financing, sch as direct financing, indirect financing, and/or insurance
- Risk Management: Export Financing Risk Management for small and medium enterprise firms, experience designing policies and procedures, experience setting up underwriting processes
- Operations: expertise in core and support operational functions at an EXIM bank or Export Credit Agency; experience designing and implementing loan tracking, claims, collections and back office support functions
- Technology: experience in IT within a finance institution including computer asset management, procurement, and customer/client management systems.
These Subject Matter Expert roles are part of a core project in the Middle East. Travel and lodging will be reimbursed.
