Our client, a leader in strategy and implementation in the financial services industry, has been engaged by a well-known investment bank to lead the firmwide IBOR transition. They are seeking a Project Manager to bring strategic structure, organization and efficiency to this transition. This individual will create strategic agendas with the Global Program Manager as an initial phase of planning. Implementation action will include leading and facilitating discussions with multiple workstreams by leveraging high level knowledge gather from other working groups, as well as reviewing and ensuring work output to make sure it is in compliance with requirements of the transition. This role will also require analysis of data and systematic/operational constraints, gathering inventories of systems, processes and models, and creating new product capability roadmaps for future role out.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

Knowledge of institutional lending product operations; commercial real estate loans, warehouse loans

Functional understanding of loan lifecycle management as well as managing loan booking

Experience as a Project Manager or management consultant,  5+ years

Strong communication skills, client facing and internal

Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint

This is a contract to hire position in NYC. The initial contract will be 6 months, with significant opportunity for full time employment with the bank upon completion.
